Camddwr Limer (mag)

  Prior to liming, the reservoir’s water was consistently acidic at around pH5 or less, with little river life for 17 km (10 miles) downstream from the dam. Liming has raised the water quality to nearer pH7 helping to restore fisheries and wild life in the upper river.
